A.L. Brown graduate Haskel Stanback had a great football career, starring at running b

ack for the Wonders and the Tennessee Volunteers before a six-year career (1974-79) for the Atlanta Falcons.

Stanback was drafted in the 5th round of the NFL Draft in 1975 by the Cincinnati Bengals. He was the 114th overall pick.

With the Falcons, he rushed for 25 TDs and caught a pass for a score. His only NFL pass hit Wallace Francis for a 41-yard touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers in 1975.

If you watch some of the videos, you will see Stanback was a crushing blocker in addition to being an outstanding runner.

After football, Stanback had a career with Norfolk Southern Roadway.
